Welcome to Summer with Fresh Roots Forest School in Redondo Beach, California!

Camp starts on June 12th and ends on August 18th.

We will be hiking and exploring with planned creative activities for learners ages 3-12 years old. This year we offer the following age pods; 3-4 years, 5-7 years, and 8-12 years; all groups will spend time learning together, too!

We are excited to have new and continuing families join us!

Week 1: June 12 – June 16

Week 2: June 20 – June 23 (Closed 06/19)

Week 3: June 26 – June 30

Week 4: July 3 – July 7 (Closed 07/04)

Week 5: July 10 – July 14

Week 6: July 17 – July 21

Week 7: July 24 – July 28

Week 8: July 31 – August 04

Week 9: August 07 – August 11

Week 10: August 14 – August 18

Camp runs Monday through Friday from 10 am-2 pm.

Costs for 5 days per week: $425 per week (including application fee)

• Early registration gets a 10% discount; can not be combined with a sibling discount. Early registration ends on April 30th.

• We offer a sibling discount of 10% for the second learner.

• Fresh Roots Forest School might be in different locations such as Wilderness Park, Alta Vista, Rocket Park, and some Beach Days.

We recommend signing up in advance for one or more weeks as no spots can be reserved without having received a full payment. A $250 deposit is required to reserve a spot and payments must be made in full to secure the spot for each session. Signing up after May requires full payment 21 days prior to the starting date. This is on a first come first sign-up basis. If the camp is full you will be put on a waitlist for the next available spots.

Payment needs to be made in full to secure space for each learner enrolled. Payments made in May or later in the enrollment season are non-refundable. Additional camp information will be emailed out after your payment has been received. Unfortunately, refunds will not be given for camp days missed. Additionally, there will be no Camp on June 19th and July 4th.

HOW TO REGISTER:

1) Fill out and submit this form, with a separate form for each learner you are registering.

2) Make payment within 3 business days to secure your child's space as SPACE IS NOT SECURED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.

3) Release and Emergency Contact Forms for your learner to attend summer camp will be emailed to you before summer camp. These forms should be filled out, and emailed or brought to your learner's first day of summer camp. Please know we cannot keep your learner at camp without these forms.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If Fresh Roots Forest School cancels a week, all payments will be refunded in full.

If you cancel any week, payment is partially refundable up to 21 days prior to the first day of the week, less a $125 cancellation fee for each space. ​After 21 days prior to the first day of the week, full payment is non-refundable. There will be no refund after June 1.

LATE POLICY: Fresh Roots Forest School Summer Camp hours are from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Children should not be dropped off earlier than 10:00 am and must be picked up by 2:00 pm. A late pick-up fee may be applied at the rate of $1 per minute after 2:05 pm. If a late pick-up cannot be avoided, be sure to text or call the lead staff. Late fees still apply, except during emergencies.

PAYMENT METHODS: Please include a note with your learner's first name and the Session/s you're purchasing. You will receive a confirmation email for the payment.

WHAT TO PACK:

1. Well-fitted shoes and comfortable clothes (think in layers).
2. Appropriate shoes for the weather and activities
3. Well-fitted backpack
4. Hearty lunch and snacks (i.e. nuts, dried fruit) preferably in reusable containers.
5. Reusable water bottle (we will carry extra water for refills)
6. Sun protection: hat, long sleeves, sunscreen (please apply sunscreen before camp)

We do not provide snacks due to allergies.
